Uncomfortable situations and topics are a part of everyday life. It's how we respond to them that makes a big difference. Avoiding something doesn't make it go away; in fact, avoidance tends to amplify whatever you're avoiding. Planning for uncertainties is my calling. Lynn
Planning for your life includes planning for those who count on you. Dependent Care Plans include planning for your family members who count on you, your pets, and your residence. Consider creating special care instructions, financial provisions, and emergency care plans. Lynn
I speak of autopilot often. Today, I ask you to really think about all you take care of. If you were to ask someone close to handle things for you, could they? How can you make what you handle accessible to another? Do you have a plan for that? If not, let's talk. Lynn
I had the pleasure of being a guest on Kevin Strauss' podcast called "Question It". He pulled a random question and the two of us answered it on the fly! Check it out! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 Guest Lynn Lambrecht Episode 46 YouTube: lnkd.in/eWtwycpM Spotify: lnkd.in/ez8xKmnu
I tend to be the person who makes lemonade out of lemons 🍋 The funny thing about storms is that they often clear the path and remind you of what is important. Contingency planning is similar. Discussing what's important to you allows us to craft the best ways to protect you. Let’s get started!
I read an article this week about how online passport renewal rejections are due to an AI glitch in the system. That wasn't the case for me. I submitted it 6/26 & had my new passport in the mail 7/6! I'm good to go for the next ten years! Happy travels! Lynn
Caregiver Tax Credits are a big deal. While federal help is paused, many states are taking action! Read my blog post here: us9.admin.mailchimp.com/campaigns/sh...
July 4th is celebrated as Independence Day in the United States. This date marks the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. This document declared the Thirteen Colonies' separation from British rule. To you and yours, Happy 4th! Lynn
I read an article recently about the heart-brain connection. They are linked through the autonomic nervous system, which regulates involuntary body functions like heart rate & blood pressure. Our mental and emotional states impact our health. Slow down and breathe. Lynn
What do you think about when you hear the term "personal planning"? My definition has changed over the years. What I ask myself now is how I can make sure that others know what I do, access, and take care of my day-to-day life. Have you identified and shared your plans? Lynn
I received an email from the state department letting me know my passport would expire within 1 year. They included information about the online renewal process that could save me time and money. I took a deep breath and gave it a try. It was SO easy! GO here: opr.travel.state.gov Lynn
Perspective is everything. Growing up, I learned from my parents and educators the importance of treating people as I would wish to be treated and of expecting the unexpected. I've approached planning this way. I hadn't counted on how legislative action can derail plans. Consider this now! Lynn
June is PTSD Awareness Month. PTSD is a mental health condition that can impact any person of any age after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. It is hard to stop thinking about what happened after a traumatic experience. We never know what someone has gone through. Be kind, always. Lynn
How often do you review your internal processes, your documents, your backup plans? Have you ever conducted a "gap analysis" to learn the areas requiring action? We're in month six of 2026. This is an excellent time for us to establish an action plan to "mind the gap"! Lynn
Emergency Preparation matters! Natural disasters are common across the country, as are personal health changes. Consider having yearly practice drills at home and work with your families and employees. Assess everyone's readiness to evacuate, communicate, and resume. You'll be glad you did. Lynn
Priorities are a tricky thing. How do you identify your priorities? And, how do you schedule your time to act upon them? What is the impact on you and your quality of life? Schedule time to act upon your high priorities. Review all priorities often - they can shift. Consider contingency planning 🌞

Contingency Planning involves evaluating risks, whether for preparation in advance of emergencies that impact you (health, natural disasters+). How are you preparing for these risks? Or better yet, are you preparing for these risks? It's a good time to review your plans. Let's talk :) Lynn

Wildfire Preparedness - mailchi.mp/4494badde64e... We had wildfire preparedness week last week in California. While it's fresh in my mind, I wanted to share that fires extend well beyond California and help you prepare, too. Lynn
For years, I was guilty of doing "it" (all of the it's) myself. Learning to ask for help took root for me when I realized that, as much as I loved to give, others did too, and it was ok to ask for help. Permit yourself to ask for help. Especially when it comes to contingency planning* 😉 Lynn
Every May, National Women’s Health Awareness Month shines a spotlight on the unique health needs of women and encourages women of all ages to take charge of their physical, mental, and emotional well‑being. Health isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Make it a priority all year! Lynn

Are you more of a do-it-now (and get it over with) person, or do you prefer to do it later? For me, it depends! Under a deadline, I try to get things done early to allow time for review and changes. For contingency plans, set a deadline and give yourself the time to review and make changes. Lynn
