Really grasping at straws with an #ableton issue I've been having. Can't figure out what's up w/ my exports being quieter than the project file. #audio #troubleshooting

dunno if I should put this in here or #tech , buuttt...
So I use Ableton as my DAW, and my mixes always come out rlly quiet on both the MP3 and WAV files. I always keep my master track volume at Unity (0 db), and my tracks always r kissing unity in terms of output from within the DAW. Despite this, it always exports quieter than what I was hearing just a few mins ago natively in the DAW. Searching for the answer was weeirrddd, so does any1 here have any ideas on what's going on??

Thinking maybe this lil' headphone setting on the master might b a booster of sorts 4 headphones n' that's what I'm actually hearing?? idk l'll hafta check it out when I get home

it's gotta b something with the ASIO driver vs MME bcse when I listen to the latter on the project file it'll b quiet just like the export. Not the case with ASIO!

Thinking about this old stop motion animation channel I found on youtube at 2am as a kid. Had some weird fleshy shit going on w/ it 90% of the time.
I remember one video specifically about making animations where the stop motion camera had blood in it that'd form weird fleshy replicas of what it took pictures of. Very weird shit. Also remember one set inside a house/child's bedroom that got real freaky.
