Father, husband, "singer song-cyclist", and forever friend-rocker. Everything dies, baby. That's a snack. - he/they
Not necessarily the most American not patriotic record to put on, but it is the most Friday morning record to put on. Getz au go go - Stan Getz
Not sure if Rockwood has the same mgmt they did 20 years ago, but I went to a show there once when I first moved to NYC. The owner was running sound and had Presence on between sets. We struck up small talk in which he insisted, fervently, this is Led Zeppelin’s finest hour. #Nowplaying #MusicSky
Every hometown’s got the ominous megastructure, what’s yours?
One of the most compelling minimalist guitar — primitive, shmimitive — works of my lifetime.
It’s kind of infuriating how Bowie, Dylan, Cohen, and McCartney are/were really going out at a new height of their powers.
Spinning these on the turntable today: Left: ‘McGear’ by Michael McGear (aka Michael McCartney, brother of Paul who produces and keeps his white hot shit streak going from ‘Band on the Run’ the previous year) Right: ‘Best of Mancini’ TV themes on Side 1, Film on Side 2

Organizing my vinyl collection post-move and I thought I had lost my 1985 Jem records small-run copy of Third/Sister Lovers with the blue cover. Gifted by a friend and my favorite album ever made, no exaggeration. Was seriously freaking out for a minute there.
Raffi looking like he’s about to found Animal Collective on this stellar 1987 LP.
So I actually put on Presenting the Fabulous Ronnettes Featuring Veronica and this is kicking up dirt on my argument that the reason “Born to Run” kicks off side 2 is because “Be My Baby” is the GOAT track 1 side 2 up to that point.
When you’re yelling your music opinions at me this is who you’re yelling at
I know it’s his fan club thread and everything but this literally never gets old.
I mean, I love the guy but I don’t even know if he has 10m neurotransmitters let alone Twitter engagements.
We need to stop using this meme and just say what the fuck we really feel without giving into trivializing authenticity.
Yearning to feel the same lease on life as this guy in bandcamp blurbs for Mydreamfever.
