I went to the shelter to adopt a cat and saw one hiding in the corner. I asked if I could see it. The staff said "Oh, Honey. You don't want her. She's unadoptable. We have to put a blanket over her cage." Undeterred, I went into the room. She came right to me. She's been my best friend ever since.
