Another one with a country twang but this one sits a little more comfortably in the Americana scene. I saw Kristina Murray at Black Deer Festival and she was great. This album is very strong. Slow Kill being one of my favourite songs of recent years #5debutalbums1519
Sarah Shook & The Disarmers - Sidelong A bit of old school country sensibility infused with a modern sound. Whiskey and stuff. My kind of tunes. Strong album #5debutalbums1519
Here's one that more folks should hear The Devil and the Almighty Blues by The Devil and the Almighty Blues One heck of a blues inflected stoner album. At Feb 2015 this just about makes the cut i think #5debutalbums1519
Sault - 5 is definitely worth some consideration for #5debutalbums1519 Excellent soul, funk, afrobeat and more that sounds both contemporary and classic. What a super group! Great music

#5debutalbums1519 Tierra Whack - Whack World This one is technically an album but at 15 songs and 14 mins it runs a little short However, im all for economically minded music Its fun and if you dont like it, its over almost as soon as it starts
Gig Night Emily Portman @Greystones, Sheffield It was a folk singer in a small ish room so I thought it best to keep the phone in my pocket during the show. Great performance. Her new album sounds like its going to be a good one.

Keeping the N.W.A. theme going with Eazy-E. Its an interesting companion to Straight Outta Compton. Its no where near as revolutionary but as a fan of Eazy's particular brand of charisma on the mic, I'm quite fond of this one. #5debutalbums8589
Compton's N the House! N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton A legendary album that is rough around the edges but that feels kinda like the point. Cube is the standout but I love Eazy-E's verses too. I'll bet this is gonna make my #5debutalbums8589
Decided to be a bit more selective about this #1001albums app But I had to give Mellon Collie a spin. Been a long time since I listened to this CD in full Quite an epic journey. Holds up well
