Too tall to be an astronaut Opinions do represent that of my employer, obviously. Suspiciously unavailable during full moons I was in many forms before I was set free
My favorite Raymond E. Feist quote. I think of it a lot, living in America these days...
Every year there's a new animal the internet loves, and by day three or five it's so repetitive and saccharine I have to mute its name to keep myself from drawing the collective ire of the groupmind.
Today in Mythic Bastionland we met probably our favorite NPC ever: the weird depressed guard who wants to be a knight, who can't die, hates a creature called a Hawkleon, and just wants to get the special cudgel he's been seeing in his dreams that might also be the only weapon that can kill him?
Reminds me of a can that came in when I worked at goodwill years ago.
"Punk" and "Rebel" and "Maverick" are just aesthetics and slogans to conservatives. Completely untethered to action, beliefs, or reality.
I've been making my own red pepper flakes for a few years, just got this year's plants in the planter (an above-ground fire pit my dad found on the side of the road). Two cayenne plants, a jalapeno, and a tabasco. Was hoping to find mirasol and/or poblano, but nowhere I went to had them.
I quit playing magic over 10 years ago, and almost everything they've done since then has reinforced my decision.
Made the Samwich from @parlorroom.dropout.tv on a blueberry bagel and some eggs and peppers with black garlic and peri peri hot sauce from @hotsaucelady.bsky.social Both were phenomenal. Top tier lunch.
When I worked at Goodwill in books, every time a book by a GOP politician or Fox News talking head came in it was in pristine condition, probably unopened. I would usually draw devil horns on their face on the cover and toss them in the bin to be pulped. Nobody's reading fucking Sarah Palin's book.
End of the ~70 session campaign. Struck down the merged gods and our heroes walk--or float, in the case of the arachnoform Conrasu psychic--into the sunset.
9 games Really need about 15 to fit in Crystal Warriors, OG Zelda, Guardian Legend, Halo, the Saboteur, and Inscryption.
Apparently the secret to beautiful copper waffles is adding >15 year past date green food coloring to the batter on a whim.
This week we hit a TTRPG bucket list item in Pathfinder 2e...
Thinking of the Shadowrun novel Changeling where large portions of the population are not literate, but rather iconerate--they know icons and some words, but can't fully read.
I read this thread, and scrolled down the main feed a bit to see someone else had posted this article from 2 years ago. This could be you, people pretending twitter is still what it used to be.
Republican Nazis want to create a snitch state so badly. Like every fucking month there's a new "report undesirables" line popping up either at a federal agency or in some red (gerrymandered) state.
Went to donate blood at the library earlier and saw this mask in the grass, and when I got out it was in my car. Weird, huh?
