It’s wild to me. Often I hear that soccer has no place in the US, yet here at Big Grove, all the TVs are on the game, and everyone is paying attention.
I go out into the world, I touch grass. What is puzzling and frightening to me is how do I make friends after saying “hello.”
Gotcha. In the meantime for pictures for the rest of the week, I’ll just post Norma Jean.
In that case, I propose a toast: to the end of Mandatory Shower season. May we soon step outside and not suffer.
The fun part about autocross is the sheer variety of cars you see for competition.
For my money, an ID Buzz is a remarkable deal because it’s significantly cheaper than a Cybertruck.
Second, when I got back, Norma Jean has been more willing to lie next to me when I’m sleeping.
Well, two things: Bruce has been off exploring western America along the California Zephyr route.
What if we just electrified the entire route of the California Zephyr? I’m sure these trees would appreciate not choking on the diesel fumes that come pouring out.
Now I’m complaining. Eleven hours late to my station and counting. Guess there is not transportation that’s storm-proof.
Train was delayed for ten hours from the debris from the storm, still haven’t made it to my station yet, but I’m still God and BNSF’s problem.
I wonder if every long distance Amtrak has to carry a forgiveness package in the likely event of a delay. (I’m not complaining. Free food!)
I was hoping this light bag would be more comfortable to wear compared to the ones with the spaghetti straps. Alas, this one can’t carry much for long periods of time either. Maybe I should invest in a collapsable backpack.
Well, Cubs come thru again, only this time I was able to see it with my own eyes.
