There are so many fun alternatives to #commander #edh like #valuevintage, #battleboxmtg, #mtgjumpstart. I find having alternative decks to play with people a great way to explore and enjoy the game of #magicthegathering and so many of these formats can be dirt cheap and built from bulk!

Over a decade ago I left the USA to teach in S. Korea and was certain that my folks sold off the SNES I inherited from my grandpa. Never found it on any return trips until today. 🤯😃 Even my brother, who regularly visits and helps my folks, thought they sold it off because he never found it either.

Found my next commander. Shares my wife’s name (but spelt wrong) and gives me an excuse to run a ton of multicolor spells. Need to find some Skittles sleeves for it… *flicking skittles at my opponents every time I cast a spell* “Taste the rainbow…”

While living in South Korea, morbid curiosity forced me to purchase Cola and Yogurt flavored Pringles. They were limited runs. This was for the best. Both were truly awful. Both were amazing to have my students try. A reminder that even though you CAN make any flavor, you probably shouldn’t.

I live and work in a “rural” area. I despise current cloud computing as it creates several issues for our department at work with “shared” files being inaccessible due to weather and internet issues. Also, I just want some things on my dang computer hard drive. I don’t want everything on a server.
