Holy shit, in MtG middle earth, Eowyn is Black and Goldberry is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. I fucking love these. No wonder Tom Bombadil is such a merry fellow.
Weird porous texture I made by mixing never-dry play sand mixed with thinned PVA glue. I can expand on the method if anyone needs their minis standing in pumice or something.
But if you cannot get the thing you really want (potential romantic or sexual partners signaling that you are attractive, and thus have value) then you take what you can get (I can at least measure my own Gains and take some pride on that basis.)
Last miniatures I will be finishing this month. Gandalf, obviously, for MESBG. Plus four Quar teenagers dressed up for a costume party, and the mysterious, murderous alien hunting them.
RPGnet, the finest webforum in all the land, has a new mascot. Behold! The Porkon Cow.
This is one of those horror movie villains where the real monsterfuckers think you don't even count. Like, still too conventionally attractive.
WiP. The four Quar teenagers going to an innocent costume party, and the mysterious, murderous alien that hunts them. Her hair is coming out looking more like Kurono from Chrono Trigger than I intended. I may have to go back and revisit it.
I finally finished these guys all the way. Took forever, but they do look good IMO.
Purple Girl is done and I'm happy with. Temu Willow I am not so happy with, but declaring her done anyway.
Grendel vs The Shadow was completely sick. Honestly all of Wagner's Shadow books were great, and Alex Ross's covers for Wagner's Shadow books were the best comics covers I have ever seen.
About once a month I randomly think about this post and just have an overwhelming rush of feelings.
So, mini painting this last weekend: I have finished the Pestigors for Darkwater. I didn't like painting them and they aren't good. But they are done and that gets me closer to playing the game! Second image is my various Hasslefree minis for Frostgrave. I love them.
In a rare burst of indolence, Biollante, the tiny tabby terror, held still long enough to be photographed while awake.
I think this girl is 95% done. The only thing left is that her boots are actually wedges, and I need to pick those out in a brighter color so they show up and look fun. And I just don't have the precision for that in me right now.
WiP on some terrain for MESBG. I don't have much experience with painting naturalistic terrain, so I am pretty happy with these. Like you can see layer lines, but it's still better than what I could realistically cut out of foam.
So, Vampire Marines get Celerity now. Truly, 11th is shaping up to be Best Warhammer.🧐
I'm calling these done for now. I kinda want to make the roof more terra cotta, but I don't feel confident about mixing up such a color right now, and I don't have paint that color.
