The only thing I liked in The Hunchback of Notre Dame was “Hellfire”. I simply never cared for Disneys depictions of Post-antiquity Europe. (and tbh, if Hercules’ whole aesthetic wasnt ripped straight out of Regan era Vegas/USA w/ a heavy gospel overlay, I probably wouldnt like that movie either)
I remember going to see Chronicle in theatres in college and it was SO GOOD but I was so let down and annoyed because OF COURSE the Black kid has to die to prove the antagonist has truly lost it. I hoped that kid went on to have a productive career. He won an oscar a few days ago
