Oh man: Randy Mantooth, best known as paramedic Johnny Gage on Emergency!, died Thursday at 80. He wasn’t just an actor: he supported real medics for the rest of his life. I was honored to meet and chat with him in 2013. That story: go.thisistrue.com/mantooth
