I make games! Known for Old Skies, Expelled!, Nighthawks, Unavowed, Technobabylon, Blackwell Epiphany, Shardlight, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator and more. :)
I keep reminding myself it’s okay if it looks crap, it’s a sketchbook, sketch.
I like the green colour of this sketchbook. I thought I might fill it entirely with green sketches. I hoped this pen would have enough ink, but after a couple of weeks that seems unlikely.
Volume II of Emma ends with such a belter of a line that Austen must have sat back in her chair with the biggest of smirks after having written it.
I added Mr Woodhouse to my page of Emma sketches, I love this old clown.
ha thanks to you and @unormal.bsky.social I log in here for a quick break from work only to see two projects I worked on right at the top of my feed, okay I get the hint I’m going back to work now
Happy June, in May I drew lots of pictures, made good soups, played old games, bought a second Fender Telecaster. You can see it next to the one I already had. It is much redder. I have only played two gigs with it so far but there will be many more. Have a great month!! 🥰
Hi everyone my Star Wars opinion is that this game should have been called Age of Empires Strikes Back.
An update for anybody wondering whether I still hang out with spiders and play old games…
I’ve been having such a nice time with OpenLoco lately. I loved Chris Sawyer’s Locomotion back when it came out, and this is a very fine open source implementaiton of it. It’s still so satisfying to watch my charming little transport empire operating.
I love that Cryo saw his Riverworld series of novels and how you can just have any historical figures interact in it and went “Oh shit that’s just Civilization” and went and made a bad 3D strategy game based on it. 🫡
Sorry, science, but Age of Empires proves that Herman Melville was right.
