I got to see Reika-do up close on Miyajima in April 2010. It was a beautiful part of a life-changing experience and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Here's the shot I took of it, below Sanki-do to the right. The flame in Reika-do was lit by Kobo Daishi, the founder of Shingon Buddhism.
