The comparisons in this article really show how half-baked the initial iteration of Apple’s Liquid Glass was. Compared to Golden Gate, MacOS Tahoe’s icons look like they’re low resolution but it’s really just poorly executed reflections!

Neytiri rides her ikran in flight low over turquoise coastal water with a fog shrouded forest in the background. She holds a bow raised overhead, her body leaning into the motion. Trees and other distant Na'vi riders are visible in the background nearby her.

In a glowing purple grove of bioluminescent hanging willow-like strands (the Tree of Souls), a Neytiri rests a hand on the head of a kneeling Jake who grasps one of the luminous tendrils. The scene is bathed in deep purple and violet light.

Neytiri rides a banshee (ikran) in a steep diving descent, gripping the green-and-teal patterned creature as it plunges. The motion-blurred grey background conveys high speed. As she dives her bow is drawn and aimed at an unseen target.

Since we're now nonsensically comparing the length of things to skyscraper heights

The title of the poster previously read: "Our Pool is Bigger than Skyscrapers."

In this edited version, Trump's poster board is enlarged and the title now says: "Our Park is Bigger than Skyscrapers." New York Central Park has been added to the comparison, completely dwarfing the Lincoln Reflecting Pool. At two thousand thirty feet the Lincoln Pool is puny compared to Central Park at thirteen thousand six hundred feet. The poster board has been comically enlarged to just barely fit central park, being partly covered by the chyron.

The chyron now reads "N Y C: Our park is bigger than your pool." To the left of Trump and leaning into the frame with a gravity-defying slant, Mayor Zohran Mamdani sneaks a look at the poster over Trump's shoulder. He has a slight but satisfied grin on his face.

This post prompted me to look at the project website, I didn't realize (or I forgot) that this is only the beginning of the project! There's still 7 more towers to go!!
