In a rational world, a referendum to force anyone with more than $1 billion to give all of their wealth in excess of $1 billion to the general population would presumably pass with 99.9997% of the vote.
It seems a bit misleading to imply (per chart) that equities are important or significant for lower 50% because value has doubled when the % of net wealth has increased from just 0.5% to 1.1%? This would be barely noticeable in quantitative terms.
