About 2/3rds of the way through his set last night Kevin Morby sat down at the piano to play Destroyer from his album Singing Saw. As he started it up he referenced the show he played in town 10 years ago when that album was new, but he couldn’t remember the name of the venue…

A few months back I saw an interview with MJ Lenderman where he extolled the virtues of slip on shoes, specifically clogs, while on tour. Fellow NC band played their set last night with all 4 members wearing clogs. This level of pushing boundaries extends beyond footwear and into genre as well…
