Most of my friends' introduction to Matthew Broderick was FBDO, mine was Glory. Learning about the 54th Massachusetts when I was 7 or 8 shaped my understanding of freedom. The abolitionist and Union are aspects that I honor as the US makes (?) it to 250.

My oldest one requested to try baseball this year. So happy and excited to watch his first scrimmage today. I never expected that it would heal the part of me who always longed to play organized baseball, but never had the opportunity, given our family's situation when I was a kid. ❤️
