Toni McClory

Marched since the '60s (you do the math). Former public and private attorney; college instructor. Author of Understanding the Arizona Constitution. Retired but still marching and striving to make good trouble. (I.e. with top-notch compatriots.)
My iPhone gratuitously told me that this is my best foto from my am pup walk. I didn't ask. Since 90% of my phone content is legal/political, I'm officially alarmed....
I'm ahead of you & taped this to my TV as a reminder. I liked Colbert's humor, but even more, I dislike political censorship. I'm curious about whether others have done the sam....
Your middle school Constitution quiz: Who makes the rules for voting in federal elections?
Pinned to my TV so that I don't slip up. I enjoyed Colbert's (fairly innocuous) satire. But I dislike censorship even more. PS: I'm old enough (barely) to remember McCarthyism. I'm not sure how the network rectifies this, assuming that it can ever regain viewer trust.
9 year old Ginnie Woof (before recent haircut) is very impressed & sends best wishes from Seattle.
As a viewer, I've made a different decision. And I remember Edward R Murrow and times when the network stood for something....
I remember Edward R Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather and other courageous journalists who spoke truth to power during challenging times. (I'm old.) I don't remember anything like the current capitulation. Cowardly, misguided true belief, greed, or ....?
Ahead of you! I bailed when they dumped Colber. Pinned to my TV so that I don't forget:
Validating my boycott every day. Are there enough viewers for two Fox News networks? Are their disposable incomes comparable?
Taped to the bottom of my screen as a reminder since. I doubt that our modest consumerism will be missed but if enough viewers...?
Since the Colbert cancellation, I had a reminder taped to my screen about avoiding CBS. Now it’s 60 Minutes. Are there enough Fox viewers to sustain two networks And their advertisers?
