The Syreen Penetrator, a space vessel as seen in "Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters" from 1992. It's in the classic 1950s "space rocket" style, but much of the rocket body is, well, ribbed.

Mine did that a few years ago. Well, it was more like he was startled, then he slipped off the headboard and my face became his next launchpad. He barely missed my eye. Thankfully it healed up nicely and there's no real sign of it anymore.

I'm two days behind on sharing this, but here's a bright spot amongst the doomscrolling: new tree! The tree in front of our house had to be removed a few years ago lest it die and fall over. A new one was finally planted on the 11th. I'm really looking forward to watching this grow over the years.

Ollie always loves to wander across my desk when my camera is on. At least my coworkers were highly amused.

I, a middle-aged white guy with dark hair and spectacles, am on-camera for a meeting. My cat, Ollie, a grey domestic short hair, has walked past me. While most of him is obscured by the virtual background effects, his tail is visibly flapping in front of my face.

The aforementioned background is a photo I took of Patterson Park on a misty night. Winter had not yet switched to spring, so the trees are bare.
