Interesting how the exact people who insist that we learn the lessons from prior mistakes of starting military conflicts never seem to learn the lessons from those military conflicts.

From a Reddit post about ICE in LA. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt under their police vest is a very intentional choice. This seems like a Boogaloo boy who is also a thug agent of the state. LA friends - be careful out there and make sure folks are aware of what is happening.

Can you be a bootlicker and a far-right anti-government accelerationist? Of course Boogaloo boys can, because logic does not apply to them.

Anyways, here's a masked ICE agent - despite LA saying that they are banning cops wearing masks - wearing a Hawaiian short sleeve shirt with a black long sleeve undershirt under his police vest, with a baseball gap on and black pants. He is talking on the phone, while someone sits in the back of a cop car in the background.

Statement from the American Nurses Association regarding the death of registered nurse Alex Pretti
SILVER SPRING, MD - January 24, 2026 - The American Nurses Association (ANA) is deeply disturbed and saddened to learn of the death of Alex Pretti, a registered nurse, in Minneapolis earlier today. We extend our condolences to Alex's loved ones, colleagues, and the community at large.
ANA condemns violence in our communities. The seriousness of this incident and others demand transparency and accountability. ANA calls for a full, unencumbered investigation, and urges that findings be shared promptly and clearly so Alex's loved ones and the public have answers.
One in four nurses already experience workplace violence. As incidents with federal law enforcement continue to rise across the country, we are deeply concerned for the safety of nurses, both on the job and in the communities they serve.
Nurses are advocates for the safety and well-being of their communities. They enter this profession to heal, to protect human life, and to show up for people in their most vulnerable moments.
