I’m being eaten alive by bugs, but at least Baz the wonder pug is having a fantastic morning walk.
Baz has had an exhausting week. It is tough being this adorable and making sure all your humans have enough kisses.
If you’re not stretching with a pug assistant, have you really stretched? Baz’s idea of assistance is sweet puggy kisses and occasionally standing on you to reach far away things like faces.
Morning, Womble! Just got back from an audiobook walk sponsored by an indie bookshop. I listened to The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter by Hazel Gaynor. The beach location by the bay was a great match.
I’ve got my emotional support pug as I watch the House of the Dragon premiere. I’m sure everything will be fine….
Baz helped me with yoga today. Right after he spent time killing his bed in a fawn colored blur of tiny rage.
The pug has been retrieved from boarding and begun his revenge stealing of shoes and socks followed by zoomies and an almost sploot. I guess that shows me!
Places you can knit: on a coach traveling through beautiful countryside while listening to Cleopatra by Saara El-Arifi. 📖 🧶
Baz the wonder pug defended me from a pileated woodpecker this morning. I probably wouldn’t have seen it fly off with his alert bork. He is so brave. And then I had my eyes peeled and saw FIVE pileated woodpeckers on my neighbor’s tree. Very cool.
After the doughnut truck line, a walk to the park, and a bunny that got away, Baz is napping away.
Baz the wonder pug has decided it is time to zoom. Occasionally, he has a break to destroy a pine cone or stick.
Few things are more difficult than trying to hurry Baz the wonder pug on his morning walk. Sure he looks innocent in this photo, but any attempt to change the direction he wishes to go leads to the planting of all four feet and a reproachful stare. Fourteen pounds of No.
In ridiculous pug news, Baz continues to enjoy being upside down. And being tired from his busy schedule of snacks, walks, and snuggles.
I took Baz the wonder pug to the coffee shop/donut truck/bookstore popup. He is the bestest boy and would like to know when his snacks are coming.
Baz the wonder pug figured out he enjoys picking up the squeaky ball and bringing it back in my general vicinity. He usually just chases the ball and shows me where it is.
Here’s a little pug of the morning: Baz before going outside this morning and after. There was much rolling on his back followed by chomping on the bed after coming back inside. He is a fearsome predator.
Baz the wonder pug says good morning and he would like some scritches. Be aware that sometimes he is a cat and likes to gently chomp the hand that pets.
I bought this beautiful comic from @avoidbee.bsky.social . I saved it to read this morning when I could really savor it. Beautiful work! I’m so happy this came while Rosebud is home for spring break, so they can read it, too. Rosebud loved the doodle on the package!
This week (month/year/decade) has been a lot. But at least I get to have a lavender latte in a pug mug with Baz the sweetest pug.
What does this mean, Baz? What do you want? Besides dinner because it is only 4 pm.
After stressful, unplanned traveling about the state this weekend (everything is fine now), it was so wonderful to come home to my @fridaytea.com order. Also, my predictive text knows Modern ProTEAtheus and Blackbeard’s delicacies and TEAlights.
