Not really immigration policy. There's always been a double game in Australia - expansive immigration programme with the asylum/refugee system doing the racist restrictionist work. Even within that system it's boats rather than planes that are seen as the problem.

Not much coverage by commercial networks in Australia The initial response to the inquiry said yes and highlighted West's criticism. More directed question showed very little coverage.
Surely there are some productivity implications. Speed of collation of data has improved. Some data tasks that took days now take minutes. I recently asked Claude to provide a graphic on legislation that impacted rights in Australia. I wouldn't have had time to do it otherwise. Is this bad?
