Heads up, I’m about to get weird. This is my 2nd @white2tea.bsky.social Janiform mini before I posted because it’s just so unique. The first thought every time is cigar. It reminds me of an aged MdO4 and also an Illusione CG4. Some floral, some pepper, a tannic wine note, honey retrohale/huigan.
More @white2tea.bsky.social ! Anzac is wildly inexpensive and also really really good. Think walking by a creek in the grass and eating fresh blueberries. It’s refreshing and it’s delicious. I verified the blueberries by eating some of our blueberries we’re growing. It’s bloobs.

Then for dinner I got to eat bulgogi and drink all fine, all crime! Wonderful combo, the sweetness across both was pretty magical.

@white2tea.bsky.social Brice Marden Overdrive, and not James Marsden Overload as the part of me that watched too many X-Men movies and read too many X-Men comics keeps remembering it. It’s an incredible blend though and has some of the most unique flavors and compositions of them. Always interesting
Helping my mom move continues, so we’re starting the day bright and green with sheng. @white2tea.bsky.social school day is such a refreshing and rejuvenating cup. Like the dewy grass on a misty and sunny Sunday.
Started the day with the last of my @white2tea.bsky.social heirloom maojian and ended it with Loon-call in the dark. Great day for tea, not a great day for pottery making. Struggled with centering and keeping it on the wheel, then when I got it going I’d overwork it and end up warping it until splat
Trying @white2tea.bsky.social Lisboa for the first time while we watch Godzilla Minus One (kids even let me watch subbed instead of dubbed!)after helping my mom move today and pottery class. Thick mouthfeel, milk+dark chocolate sweetness/depth on a stump. Movie is good as hell, tea is good as hell.
A regular gyokuro to contrast with the shincha I’ve been drinking. Much more mellow with more mids and lows than the bright highs of the shincha. 乇乂丅尺卂 丅卄工匚匚 umami.
Love me some shincha. Bright and verdant. Got some time in the pool with the family looking at a bunch of cool trees today. So I obviously had to start Pokémon Green and name my bulbasaur Shincha.
Shincha gyokuro. Hoping it’s caffeine works because I’m struggling today. I think I like it but in a weird way? It scratches a very specific itch that sometimes I crave and the shincha version scratches that itch without going into dark alley licking edamame bean feet territory.
Xiaguan T8653 from 2014 that I’ve kept meaning to break into but just haven’t gotten around to. Today’s the day though. Woodsy, slightly smoky, sweet. Just enough funky twang to remind you how puer works and that 12 years isn’t that long in its world. Solid daily workhorse at a steal 357g ~$20.

When there’s a million fires at work and people say “hey, I can add my grand stupidity to that conflagration!”, at least there’s @white2tea.bsky.social at my side all along. My true mentor…my guiding moonlight… I want to play Bloodborne again. At least the crazy there makes sense and looks sweet.
