Our most vulnerable New Yorkers deserve care free from discrimination. Protecting LGBTQ+ seniors in long-term care isn't political; it's about ensuring every New Yorker can age with dignity and respect. Read more at the link in bio.
I spoke with Sam Liebman about the return of shame stickers for those who violate alternate-side street sweeping rules. We deserve a clean city with technology that saves money and makes it easy for residents to plan around. Link in bio for the full story!

Congratulations to New London Pharmacy on its reopening! Local pharmacies are trusted community anchors, and I'm proud to support legislation that protects them from unfair practices so they can continue serving our neighborhoods for years to come.
Proud to stand with Broadway's 32BJ SEIU workers fighting for fair wages, strong pensions, and affordable health care. From sweeping up confetti after Moulin Rouge! to clearing gravel from The Outsiders, they keep Broadway running. Broadway works because they do!
As America marks 250 years, we celebrate how far we've come while recognizing the work still ahead. Our nation is strongest when we choose hope over fear, unity over division, and opportunity for all. Happy Independence Day
Great to celebrate two new elevators at the 57 St–Sixth Ave station! These upgrades improve accessibility for New Yorkers with disabilities, seniors, families with strollers, and everyone who relies on public transit. This is a model to bring accessibility across the system.
UNION STRONG! ALL DAY LONG! We stand with the brave members of HTC at the Four Points Fairfield as they fight the bosses for a fair contract. NYC is a UNION TOWN, and we will NEVER BACK DOWN!

Thank you to everyone who marched with my contingent at yesterday's NYC PRIDE. We marched and spread joy for everyone around the world who can not. We will take this energy across the state, country and world as we fight to ensure everyone is free to be who they are.
We celebrate PRIDE for those who cannot! If you are abandoned or persecuted, come home to New York! We will always stand as a place that is safe to all.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who show up every day with love, guidance, and support. Thinking, too, of those missing their fathers today. I’m certainly missing mine. Hard to believe it’s the first Father’s Day without him.💙
This week, Marley and interns from my team spent time greeting P.S.51 families during pick up! As the school year comes to a close, I promise to continue fighting for state investment in our students and families.
Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, honoring the end of slavery in the United States and the resilience of Black Americans. As we reflect on our history, we must continue the work of building a more just, equitable, and inclusive future for all.
