Nice. Just been playing my Trojan boxset. Has to be done in this weather. ☀️ Can’t believe they spelt his name wrong on the cover though. 🙄
I do like a good music festival. Kilkenny Roots back in May and Belfast Blues this weekend. It’s a pub crawl with music, what’s not to like!
Bought this about ten years ago and not sure why as I’ve never played it. Anyway the sun’s out so why not! 🌞🇯🇲
Another newly acquired classic previously missing from my collection. Gritty VU staples given an almost glam-rock twist. What’s not to like?
Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get a copy of New York Dolls. I’ve know and loved four of the songs for years and as expected the whole album is superb. Mock Rock indeed! 👌
Some gig highlights from this year, Steve Craddock in Belfast, Wild Billy Childish in London, Big Star Quintet in Kilkenny and Pixies in London. Some festivals coming up and more gigs in Dublin and Belfast in November.
Well, this post nudged me into giving it a well overdue spin. Great record! 😍
People can get sniffy about compilation albums but I love throwing this on.
Having grown up in a pub and therefore worked behind the bar too this always makes me smile when it pops up on SM.
First listen to #TheBonnevilles new release. I recognise the first track from the gig at Deers Head. So far so great. 👌😍
Discovered a badger eating the cat food at the back door late last night. We don’t have a cat but we do feed one. Looks like we feed badgers too now. 🦡🐈⬛
I know they get stick in some quarters but I don't get it. Ocean Colour Scene were amazing in Belfast Sunday night.
OH was doing some family research and came across a distant cousin living here. Looks like someone’s pulled a fast one! ♟️
