this chunky lil guy's been sitting unfinished for so long, and i finally had to do something about it (except for waterslide decals, i'm not putting myself through that right now)
comically obtuse setup but it works (movers bent the jubeat cube's frame, so it no longer fits. my cats were devastated)
i need to consolidate & update my old audio cables and equipment, so with this MSPaint graphic showing how I currently stream jubeat from hardware, I hope to accomplish two things: -infuriate all techs/engineers who lay eyes on it -have them angrily tell me the right way, so i can upgrade it later
final two tracklists for now! this pair is almost certainly from late 2007, encapsulating my high school experience thus far: anime (i started our JP club bc of course i did), classical piano (my arts major), early internet meme music, and songs I was convinced were soooo obscure and underground.
second tracklist identified, from late 2008 or 2009. pretty sure track 15 is an unidentifiable netlabel ID, but I probably still have the file. unfortunately, the rhythm game brainrot runs deep it seems
I'm stuck doing manual drip coffee until I can find a replacement so time to hype this thing up again, it makes a fine cup for a $20 travel gadget (pic stolen from google)
in 2006 i had unrestricted access to limewire and the internet and it shows reeeaal bad (this is the only tracklist I've fully identified, and therefore also the least insane. please look forward to it.)
farewell, my beloved Bonavita BVM100. 🫡☕ gracefully retired after 12 years of service, her single button providing all required functionality up until the very end.
cleaned out some boxes today and found a relic of the 00's: a dedicated wifi-only console for AIM, YIM, and MSN instant messenging :D It was laggy, uncomfortable, and had terrible signal but minutes were expensive and I couldn't just ignore all my online friends~ Did anyone else have one of these?
our gen 1 JBL Xtreme stopped holding a charge and would randomly shut off even on AC power, so I ordered a new battery and took off the case and, I think this battery cell was a few cycles away from being a house fire, sheeeeesh
desk is finally doooone! all that's left is to fill the eggshell void of wall space with art, and fill all that new desk space with projects >:3
what's off to the right, you say? a useless window, a lazily designed wall, and a cat! but also a complete home ITG setup that's about to see a ton of use >:3
test placement for all the permanent desk residents; I spend a lot of time here and this is the most space I've ever had. seeing almost two years of assembling pieces finally come together is sooo gratifying
once the clear coat dries I'll be almost done with the IKEA Alex + acacia countertop desk build! I've been buying pieces for this combo for a while and I'm excited to finally put it together~ i'll take a pic of the finished setup ofc buuuut cable management could take a while
