Well thats sucks. Google maps said I could walk to and over the Carillon dam to Quebec. But upon some ground truthing, it is not the case. The trail leads to a work yard (not pictured) which you cannot pass thru. Oh well, a good walk was had regardless.

First time camping on the borderlands. And farm country to boot. I look forward to seeing what the Ottawa River here looks like. Thought this park is right behind the Carillon dam, so the river is almost 3km wide in places. Time to get the paddles in the water. #camping2026 #OttawaRiver #paddleON

Yeah these are abpit decade plus out of date. Thats when I stopped watching the highlight shows and just followed the games. At one point I was a big enough fan that I took a night out of my trip down under and ended up at the shows taping in suburban north Sydney

Few remants of the camp exist. There are 3 cabins on the top of the hill that were a part of the camp and a closed down swimming pool thats slowly eroding into the Highland Creek ravine. Now the property is occupied Masaryk Czech retirement home and Prague restaurant. #highlandcreek

"Crucified Again" by Josef Randa in honor of victims of communism. Located in a private park near the Highland Creek which was once a part of a Czech community campground. Few of these private parks still exist in Toronto proper. Id love to learn more about this space. #highlandcreek #parksTO

Never a dull day in the city when it comes to road dangers. In this case an SUV jumping the parking curbs on Bloor East and ending up sideways in the bikelane. Only about 200m east of this are Toronto barriers, those would have probably kept this car out of bikelane. #cycleTO #bikeTO #waroncars
