#cats #secretmessage My cats produced this cursive writing in yarn yesterday. I don't know what their catsense has brought them from the universe. It seems to say EQeg pretzel, balloon. (I didn't get the balloon fully into the frame.)

#radioactive #blacklight I bought this antique sewing machine table at Goodwill. I was looking inside to see all the fittings, using my black light flashlight just because I had it on hand. This object was giving off a uranium glow. I dusted it and took a look at the lettering, which reads:

The USDA website (and others presumably), makes it an official govt statement that the Dems have refused to vote for SNAP. There hasn't been a standalone vote on continuing funding for SNAP. Nothing prevents Republicans from scheduling a vote on a bill that Democrats have proposed, but they won't.

#Caturday Here's Imp. He, or a sibling, turned on the kitchen faucet last night, and the water was running I don't know how long. Fortunately, in climbing onto the windowsill, the culprit kicked the faucet onto the cold setting and the stopper was not in the sink. Prime youngster catting!

#kittens #cats This is Sprite. She was born in May, and should be five months old by the end of September. I didn't know how I was going to catch her before she matures to the dangerous age, but the weather surprised her with "cold", and she came inside voluntarily, along with her brother Pixie.

#TheLastofUS #DVD #planetEarth I've watched the first season, and it's great! Streaming media is a big user of data centers, that take billions of gallons of cooling water, and are so dangerous to the planet. Lots of entertainment is available on DVD or CD. Watch offline, and don't transmit data.
