The 5.75 ring from last week & my pinky are getting along very well, though.

Spied a graceful, patient fisherman in the Little Miami River:

Spent a Saturday meeting up with my surrogate parents for breakfast, hiking along Clifton Gorge, and putzing around Yellow Springs.

Me, a middle-aged bespectacled white woman with glasses, in my moon-full-of-snakes tee, jeans, a sweater, and some sneakers w fluorescent laces standing next to the HAZARDOUS CLIFFS—Stay On Designated Trails sign.

A waterfall coming over the gorge wall (which is like 3 layers of different dolomites, some shale, and the limestone). Also trees and plants because Ohio is like the one segment of the US not in a drought.

Wearing two of my rings from the excellent @peculiarityshop.bsky.social today (on the middle finger & pinky—the other is my engineering college class ring).

A right hand with three rings: a cameo against carnelian (w black and sparkly stones sort of swirling around it) on the middle finger, a titanium Olin College class ring on the ring finger, and a garnet set in silver on the pinky.

This is the book I was talking about & also one of the images that comes up when you search ‘Henri Bencolin’ the brilliant detective who is referred to as ‘Devilface’ throughout.
