Gear up to start walking this weekend with Pflugerville Area Dems and Railroad Commissioner candidate Jon Rosenthal! Meet up with fellow Dems, and get to meet an excellent candidate! What more could you ask for? See y'all Saturday!
Election Day is getting closer and we still need volunteers! Come to join TCDP after work to phone bank and get free tacos so we can push Travis County to the finish line in November! RSVP on our Mobilize! Follow the link to our website in our bio and hit "Volunteer" at the top
We've moved (temporarily)! We've got a new office and new hours, all for the coordinated campaign. We still have our old office, but from now until November you can find the TCDP team at: 4005 Banister Ln, Building B, Austin, TX 78704 10AM - 6PM everyday!
Please make room on your calendar for the JBR Dinner for August 15, 2026. More details coming soon.
@vikkigoodwintx.bsky.social doesn't think the government should decide if Texans can use THC. Dan Patrick thinks we should continue to ban weed and perpetuate the failed war on drugs. Vote for hemp and a GoodWin this November!
Ken Paxton refuses to let Texans see details about why Hoffman was able to repeatedly sexually assault a child and avoid the sex offender registry. Paxton refuses accountability. @jamestalarico.bsky.social wants Texans to see the details themselves. Talarico demands accountability.
Where's Mitch McConnell? No one seems to know. And no, a "20 minute phone call with the Senator" is not the proof of life that his constituents deserve.
Denee Barsalou passed away earlier this year. She was loved by her community, a giant in the Dem Party, and a friend to many. We mourn her passing with heavy hearts. Join us at 1st Universal Unitarian Church of Austin to celebrate her life. Please consider donating to Emancipet in her honor.
Ken Paxton doesn't care about America, he doesn't care about Texas, and he doesn't care about you. Elect a leader who gives a damn. Vote for James Talarico.
Texas deserves better than Ken Paxton. We deserve leaders who will expose corruption, leaders who will fight to make the future better for everyone. We deserve leaders who will do what is right. You deserve James Talarico. Vote Blue in November.
Texas deserves better than a criminal that will give sweetheart plea deals to other criminals. This November, vote for a Texas you deserve. Vote 💙Blue💙
Do you want to Democrats to win in November? Do you have free time after work on Tuesdays? Do you want free tacos? If you answered yes, then we've got an opportunity for you! Phone banks every Tuesday until the election. We'll bring the tacos 🌮🤤🌮
250 years ago, our nation was born when it declared independence from a tyrannical government. We celebrate the conflict that won our liberty, and recognize that the struggle to defend it never truly ended. Enjoy the holiday, and stay safe this weekend.
Congratulations to all of our new and incumbent precinct chairs! And a huge thanks to Judge Nick Chu 💙for presiding over the ceremony to swear everybody in! We have a huge team of dedicated Democrats ready to knock doors and flip Texas blue!
Join fellow Democrats at the Democratic Club Happy Hour! Find us at Central Machine Works July 15th, 5-7pm. Bring a friend!
Citizen's United wasn't just a mistake, it was a calculated move to let money flow into politics from unknown bad actors. Nearly $15 billion was spent in '24 election, and this decision will open the floodgates. This isn't what Democracy looks like.
In a 6-3 decision, the SCOTUS ruled that kids born in the US are citizens at birth. Justices Thomas, Gorsuch and Alito wrote the dissenting opinion. A 6-3 decision on birthright citizenship is why we need to reform the SCOTUS. We need more seats and term limits.
Texan Democrats came together in Corpus Christi this weekend for the TDP State Convention, and the energy was electric. Travis County naturally turned out to represent! This is the year to turn Texas Blue. We know what we need to do, and we're going to need you too.
Texas isn't a red state, it's a non-voting state. 11.2 million people voted in the '24 election, out of 18.6 million potential voters. ‼️7.4 million‼️ people were registered to vote but didn't! When you go to the polls this November, bring a friend. It makes a difference.
Strong courts that can push back against authoritarianism need strong leaders. Travis County nominated those leaders in March. Each one is committed to democracy and the rule of law. They just need you to get them there in November. Together, we can flip Texas 💙Blue💙
The Governor does more than sign bills into law. They also appoint replacement judges when one retires before an election. Like you needed another reason to elect 💙@ginafortexas.bsky.social in November! If you do, vote for someone who won't weaponize the courts with their appointments.
James Talarico isn't the only important name on the ballot in November. In fact, every single person on the ballot is important. If the Third Court of Appeals is on yours, vote for Darlene Byrne for Chief Justice. She understands the impact of voting blue all the way down.
We kicked off the Coordinated Campaign today with the opening of our new office! We'll be working out of here with multiple campaigns, state-wide and local. Thanks to everyone who showed up!
Happy Juneteenth, from our family to yours. Join as at the annual Juneteenth Parade and festival! We'll be at the corner of MLK and Comal. The Parade starts at 10am, and the Park Celebration starts at noon. Hope to see y'all there!
June is for Judges, and Pflugerville City Councilmember Rudy Metayer knows how vital they are for defending justice.
June is for Judges! Travis County is bursting with great people on the ballot, and that includes all of our judicial nominees! With so much at stake, electing Democratic judges will be pivotal in turning the tide in November.
It's Pride Month, and what better time to give support to the TX House LGBTQ Caucus? Scan the QR code to chip in and reserve your ticket! 📆 Tuesday, June 23rd ⏰ 12pm 📍 Stoney's Good Time Ranch 3526 E. 7th St., Austin, TX 78702
Ken Paxton's politically-motivated attempt to sue ActBlue for allegedly violating state deceptive trade practice laws has failed. The decision also prevents Paxton from suing ActBlue in the future for similar reasons.
Come to our Coordinated Campaign Kickoff! Join us from 10am - 12pm on June 20th. Come and celebrate with us as we officially start our journey to November 3rd. Food and beverages will be provided. RSVP: Link in bio!
