Ok I am convinced this is something DRBA cooked up for rhe avenue. That is definitely AI because the outdoors of Hops n Shine definitely does not look like that. I am very familiar.

Bonus content. This is the mechanical engineering building from my college. Lots of imposing buildings on the Michigan Tech campus, but this was the tallest and at a largely male attended campus of STEM majors in far northern Michigan, this was known locally as the Brick Dick.

Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. This show was way ahead of its time in being a parody of a lot of cop media and toxic masculinity (the main character is obvious satire on Dirty Harry). Also lasted two seasons. the second is a prequel because the city is destroyed in S1.

Forgotten 1980s tv show Sledge Hammer!

Features David Rasche as the title character, a police detective in a suit and sunglasses and a large pistol, an obvious nod to Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry.

Behind him are his female partner, holding his shoulder and smiling, and the captain, looking at ease with his sport coat over his shoulder.

This is the exact opposite of the actual show, where Hammer is a bumbling gun nut who happens to get it right a lot and largely with help from his frustrated and very competent partner. The Captain hates him and screams constantly.

Nice day for three of the top Alexandria activities — biking, beer, and pizza. Haven’t ridden in a while and needed a destination that was on a relatively safe route so headed to Atlas since I also hadn’t been here before. This is a good incentive to work up to the West End breweries.
