🌿 🌿 Yesterday we returned to Barton Fields for another #NoticingNature event! With help from David and Graham from Abingdon Naturalists Society, and Imogen from @wildoxfordshire.bsky.social, we explored the site's amazing wildlife using sweep nets and pitfall traps. 🐞🦗

🌿 Earlier this month we enjoyed a morning at St Mary’s Fields, Kidlington for one of our Noticing Nature events. Highlights included a grass snake, plenty of butterflies, and grasslands full of beautiful wildflowers. 🦋🌼 Huge thanks to Julia for leading us and for all they do to care for this site.

It may have been a very wet one, but we still enjoyed a lovely morning at our Noticing Nature event at Dean Common last week. We were delighted to find great crested newts in the ponds, definitely a highlight despite the rain. 🦎 And the bright blue flowers in the photos are viper’s bugloss.
