Mega Beedril is quadruped, but the abdomen reads like a real abdomen with stings, so I can hardly call it gun-like

Same logic as Naganadel. The ideal spot to place a gun-like sting. It's just less innuendo (see: the digimon's vpet sprite) and more abdomen-like as it isn't split in half. I suspect Mothmon's abdomen is designed to be able to close and open. But the lil guy has never been animated afaik...

Got you there my assorted bug digimon: 1. cutesy bugs 2. kinda cool, weird, or interesting bugs 3. humanoid bugs (the top left is actually an insanely good design) 4. actual bangers, in which (surprisingly) the sword is another kuwagamon, and the rhino is another kabuterimon.

As for me. Unless doing comic book coloring, I tend to use thick acid-free papers when possible. I carry a small pallete + waterbrush with me. Makeshift/modded my own palette boxes for years but also tried the Windsor's here. A friend gifted me an actual dedicated metal box this month! Exciting!
