My harvest today from my homegrown garden. My first eggplant picked this season is in my basket!! I’m soooo grateful I was able to grow a garden this year! I’m not eating anything from my local stores or restaurants because we have an explosive shitty unidentified issue w/commercial produce.

Home grown vegetable harvest consisting of purple bell peppers, heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, & my first eggplant harvested this season!

Supper was delicious tonight! Heirloom tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, & peas I grew the tomatoes & garlic;some of the peas. Eggplant grilled. Yellow squash air fried. Purple bell peppers sautéd into the 🍅 salad!!! Love eating well w/foods I’ve grown! Life is good!! I am blessed!!!

I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, which is polling at 97% with the Republican Party, and very high with the non-politician Dumocrats. The Act states, quite simply, that to Vote a person must show PHOTO VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE CROOKED, CORRUPT, & DESTABILIZING MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPTIONS for Military, Disabled, Illness, and Travel!). THE SAVE AMERICA ACT'S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it! If the Dumocrats, or any RINO (or worse!) working with them, do not allow a positive Vote on SAVE AMERICA, TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, and pass this, and every other Bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of (In addition to the upcoming Budget BOMB and the 1929 catastrophic style DEBT CEILING BILL!). The Dumocrats will TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, if and when they ever get the chance to do so, in their very first hour - And I will no longer be able to call them Dumocrats again! The title of DUMB will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible

Found my first eggplant coming on!! I’d read I could tickle the flowers to mimic pollination & while doing that found my first eggplant growing. I’m so excited!! found 3 🍅 worms on 2 🍅 plants that I hadn’t planted basil at the base! 😩 removed those & kilt them. Lessons in gardening continue 4me

I bought this at a thrift store 30 yrs ago. It’ll be 75 yrs old this Xmas. My daughter’s bday is today & mine is tomorrow. Weird ways my mind rolls. I was so touched I purchased this for 50 cents at a thrift store & Peggy’s Mom made & gave this to her & 75 yrs later I cherish it.

I’ve 5 tomatoes planted, 3 early, 2 the last 2 weeks. 1 of the latest plants is GROWING! One, of the ill fated planting, isn’t jumping up as much. It’ll get more sun as the days get longer. I am chuckling at my poorish planting. I’ll take the L I’m grateful for the L Lesson learned!

The email even states the tip was based on

Started weed whacking the property where I reside yesterday some before & after pics. So much more to do. For dinner all I made was soft toasted sourdough with egg salad 🥪! Been drooling over food sky but for now it’s sandwich season. Maybe I’ll cook lasagna for tasty leftovers.
