Shore Leave released a statement apologizing for those panels.

Dear Shore Leave attendees, staff, and extended family,
It has come to our attention that a small number of our fan-run panels raised concerns regarding their titles and themes. During the final stages of planning for this year's convention, the passing of Dr. Inge Heyer created an unexpected and difficult period of transition. As a result, some of our usual review processes were disrupted, and items that would normally have received additional attention including the Program Book and panel schedules-were unfortunately overlooked.
We take full responsibility for not identifying and addressing potentially controversial panel content before the convention.
Shore Leave has always been, and will continue to be, a welcoming and inclusive event for everyone.
We do not discriminate for any reason, and we are proud of the diverse community that has made Shore Leave what it is. We also believe there is value in thoughtful, respectful discussion of differing viewpoints when presented in an appropriate and constructive manner.
Going forward, we will strengthen our review processes to help ensure our programming reflects the values of our community and continues to bring people together. We sincerely apologize for falling short of the standard our attendees, volunteers, and guests have come to expect from Shore Leave, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Those poor second class passengers who had to suffer the humiliation of puling their grapes off the stem by hand.

Second Class meals on Titanic were the equivalent of First Class on other ships. Diners sat at long row tables under the decorated ceiling and feasted upon fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and fishes that were all prepared in the same kitchen as the First Class Dining Saloon. There were a few differences, however, for example Second Class passengers were not offered grape scissors and had to remove grapes from their bunches by hand.

I went to the Titanic Experience in Baltimore with my nephew today. I was assigned a doomed role, but at least I go out in style.

Having declined to take seats on a lifeboat themselves, they returned to their first-class suite and changed into formal evening wear, including white ties and tails. When the steward asked why he had changed into evening attire, Guggenheim reportedly replied, "We've dressed up in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen." He
asked the steward to convey a message to his wife: "If anything should happen to me, tell my wife in New York that I've done my best in doing my duty." Aubart and her maid secured places on a lifeboat and survived.
Guggenheim, Giglio, and Pernot all perished in the Titanic's sinking, and their bodies were never recovered. According to one account, Guggenheim and Giglio were last seen sitting on deck chairs, sipping brandy and smoking cigars as the Titanic sank.

Pro tip: If you disagree with the way a convention has described your panels, take it up with the convention not the guy who points it out. Second pro tip: Sending the guy who points it out nasty messages isn't going to make him feel more charitable towards you.
