I have very poorly added Mitch McConnel’s face to an image of Marina Abramović sitting with folded hands in a long red dress in a gallery at MoMA across a table from someone during her 2009 piece The Artist is Present. A royal blue 1975 Reliant Scimitar GTE from the right side. A long-ish hood is balanced by a hatchback rear, with 2 doors the style is known as a shooting brake (versus a station-wagon (or estate) that has 4 doors).

The side walls and the front and rear walls are all up including the front and rear roof ‘trusses’, 5 more need to be installed and then some miscellaneous bits and bobs. And a door. And a jalousie vent, etc. an orange fiberglass ladder and a white 10x10 canopy complete the scene.

An ornate room in the Smithsonian Institute’s Cooper-Hewitt museum has been turned into a recorded-music listening room with a very large pair of 3-way speakers backed by a large subwoofer with two drivers.
Miles Davis live at the Fillmore East (1970) was playing the day I was there.

HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3 features a large-scale, handmade audio system by multi-disciplinary artist Devon Turnbull. Known under his creative pseudonym OJAS, Turnbull handcrafts high-fidelity audio systems designed to envelop the listener in sound that is as rich in texture as it is in emotion.

Upon entering, visitors will experience realistic, natural sound from Turnbull’s sculptures and a chance to slow down and engage deeply with sound.

The listening room is part of the exhibition Art of Noise.
