Jul 6 in University District History: Epic religious pageant "The Wayfarer" is hit of Methodist Missions Centenary at state fairgrounds. Coliseum packed to see huge cast, live animals, orchestral and choral accompaniment, and state-of-the-art stagecraft. Lines for tickets before sunrise. In 1919.

Down to Red River Gorge area of KY last wknd. Made it a point to stop by The Drive-In Diner in Stanton. Based in the concession stand of the 1956-2016 Mountain View Drive-In, the restaurant offers movie-themed foods on the grounds of the old ozoner. Such fun! Food great. Staff super-friendly.
