The project aims to develop a new generation of musicians in instruments where numbers have been declining. The project is in partnership with EA Music (Education Authority) and is supported by the Arts Council NI's Rural Engagement Arts Programme (REAP) + the Miskelly Chorale.
At the end of last month, the 4th year of Ulster Orchestra and EA Music Service’s Endangered Instruments of the Orchestra project culminated in a showcase event where over 80 bassoon + viola players aged 8-18 performed in front of an audience of family + friends.
