My favorite Chicago fun fact is that the soccer fields at Lawrence and Simonds have a water crib essentially buried underneath them. The crib was abandoned and surrounded by landfill as the lakefront was expanded eastward.
Scoring on the whole seems to be somewhat correlated with home pricing/socioeconomic status (with some notable exceptions like stroad city Oak Brook). The bottom is largely south suburbs with lower median incomes. Not surprising since rich people will pay more for amenities.
