How awesome is it that SPPS playgrounds are open to everyone outside of school hours? Our schools benefit the whole community -- even if you don't have a kid enrolled. Public schools are the absolute best!

I'm so excited to be endorsed by the Minnesota Young DFL! I was a College Democrats and Young Democrats chapter president and at 34 years old I'm still *technically* considered a Young DFLer. I'm grateful for MYDFL's support and ready to continue working for our students.

Ashley snapped this pic of Orren and I at the Como Planetarium last night. It was such a cool experience! We learned about how NASA is searching for signs of life in our universe and everyone there was so kind and welcoming to our kids. How awesome is it that we have a planetarium in SPPS??
I'm hanging out with some great DFLers at the SD67 convention. We re-endorsed our awesome commissioner and state legislators. I'm reminding folks not to forget about the school board! Our convention is on April 26th at Humboldt High.
I'm out talking to delegates with my door-knocking buddy! Every time we leave a house he shouts "more doors!"
SPPS strives every day to be a welcoming and affirming community for all of our students. We've passed pro-LGBTQ+ policies and invested in inclusive facilities, but there is more work to be done. I'm proud to have the Stonewall DFL endorsement and am committed to continuing this critical work.
