Believe me, I most certainly plan to vote like Trump is on the ballot. In fact it gives me even more incentive!
At Comerica Park enjoying a Tigers game and a @chefreactions.bsky.social Balkan Burger. Delicious!
The things you find when breaking down housekeeping—In 1997 I spun the dark yarn for this Christmas stocking from a friend’s Chow undercoat. She collected it from the groomer after the dog’s spring shed. Added some red and white Heilo for the pattern.
The rest of the garden isn’t doing much other than the tomatoes, but the garlic tuned out just fine.
No wonder this damn fool thinks elections are rigged. He can’t tell a primary from a general! Holy fck.
When I first heard about the crystal football I thought it was a weird gift for a pope, especially one who’s a baseball fan. I figured it was an actual football sized piece, but no. It’s a freakin paperweight! 🤣🤣🤣
Opening Day! (Still debating whether or not I want to pay for tv coverage.)
Ok knitters, I’ve been putting this off but I’ve run out of excuses. These are the four corner pieces I now need before I start sewing the afghan pieces together. I don’t know which I dislike more—5-needle double points, or working from center out.
Am I the only one who’s beginning to sus that the Orange Buffoon isn’t even writing these things anymore? TBH I don’t think he has the ability to write something this long, given his lack of focus. I think they’re being ghost written by someone who’s studied his mannerisms.
The Mortgage Lifter heirloom decided to grow a ton of tomatoes too late in the season. I saved the unblemished ones to try and ripen indoors. Never tried it with heirlooms before but I should get at least two!
I pull this out as my avi every Halloween season (after I stole it off Twitter).
I’ve been bitching about this under-performing “Mortgage Lifter” tomato plant all summer. Today I found this hidden monster. Tomorrow’s dinner is this bad boy sliced with basil, Kalamata olives, sliced onion and a drizzle of balsamic dressing.
Probably the last Mr Lincoln rose of the season, the biggest and best one of the year.
This load of BS was in my email today. (Screenshot of the first part, but you get the drift— bow down to your Orange Overlord.) At least I know I can’t trust them anymore.
“I don’t know why the trim is falling off. The bottle clearly says Glue ALL!!” Elmo probably.
My son just got this email this morning. He works cleaning staff at the local VA hospital. He’s worried what this will mean for his job. (I hope this photo expands to be relatively readable.) Not good.
