My cat passed away on Wednesday. She'd been struggling with an aggressive cancer for four months, and despite some great treatment, it had spread enough that I decided it was better to end her suffering. I'm going to miss her so very, very much. She was the best cat I could have ever asked for.

I'm surprised I don't see much discussion of Alice and her Servant from Fate/Extra among trans dollgirls. You're telling me this game portrays Alice, like from Alice in Wonderland, as a lolita dollgirl, and her Servant is just herself but as a gothloli? Okay??
(the prompt was 'post a game you remember playing that no one else remembers') Noctis IV is such a fascinating space exploration game that no one has ever really tried to expand upon. I WISH there were more like it. Elite: Dangerous and EVE kinda have similar ideas but I prefer Noctis' passivity.
#RandomGameSaturday this week is both versions of Koei's WinBack: Covert Operations. Koei's attempt at a Metal Gear Solid clone, I played the N64 original as a kid and really liked it. In retrospect I don't think it was good then or now, but it WAS my first foray into stealth action games.

For #RandomGameSaturday, the wonderful Baroque! I had no idea when I bought it, but there's actually a clear plastic cover over the instruction booklet, with text and character designs. I've tried getting pictures of it but it's a real pain. I miss when games had neat little touches like this.
Gleylancer was never released in the US, which is a crime since it's one of the best SHMUPs on the console. Also I love the MC a lot, she's very cute.
~20 years ago, at the height of my interest in the series, I imported a copy of Gradius Gaiden. However, I was never able to play it on original hardware... until today. Thanks to a memory card hack and a secondhand PSone, I can FINALLY play the best Gradius game!! 15 year old Valera is SO happy
