Everything sucks right now but a new BJD forum just opened and I'm so happy I could cry. I've not been this far removed from the community since I first joined almost 30 years ago and it hurts. I need my people back!!

Today the offender himself was back in the bathtub rolling around before I got in the shower. He ended up fully on his back legs splayed and feet curls watching me upside down. Peter I hope you never change.

last one. This is level zero, when our characters where yanked from their own universes to the hub where they would eventually start the quest to save the multiverse. He did throw that bunny slipper at the story's main villain which humiliated him more than hurt him. #dnd #rpg #art

Hellhound, 9/? Pages 31-34 I love this group of pages since this is where I figured out how to color finally. from here on out (except for the interlude) it's all in full color. I found out I really like to color. At least the way I color, which is pretty much just throw it all on there and done!

every time I have a page with a bunch of tiny Johns running around doing things it's the hardest page ever. I have like, three of these so far (in the whole comic not just what's been posted) and they all took way longer than I feel they should have
Also 9-panel pages are hard.

I did not like the 1-2 color thing I had going on so I moved to a still limited, but less limited palette that was functional because you could see what was happening better (that's what I tell myself anyway)

My favorite page. It doesn't look like much, but this is the exact moment I found my coloring style. I still like looking at it - weird sketchy lines, bad handwriting and all

Finally, Griffin what the hell have you been doing this whole time I swear

More playing around with color. This time I tried a limited palette of orange and green with yellow for some reason because I decided this was better than the original colors of blue and yellow I'd used. IDK.

This was one of many color test pages. This is pretty close to the style I ended up with

Panel 2: larger, full shot of him masked and crouching on the ground, breaking the border on the top and bottom (he will do this a lot. I can't keep his hair contained it's impossible)

Took my baby to the vet today. As usual he was perfect and everyone loved him. Also he gained some of his weight back (he has hypothyroidism and lost a lot of weight) and is up to 16lbs and had perfect bloodwork so we are all very happy and healthy

I have a ton of OCs but John is my clear fav so everyone must see him a million times. He's the main character of my comic Hellhound where he is a disastrous sort of wizard. Dumb fact: He also doubles as my Dnd character and last night he died three times, all from fall damage.
