Writer/Irish-born American dumbass. Working (very slowly) on a reference book about the 3DO. Voted funniest man on the northbound Metro Blue Line.
The dude who showed me how to do this in the third grade has been arrested at least 28 times. I'm not even exaggerating.
Yeah, like I said, not friendly. I am kind of shocked this Fire TV has a Jellyfin app. But I mostly cast it through my own speaker.
Attempting to get started with the Superstation One playing Wing Commander III and am being menaced by the HypnoCube instead.
I would love to rent an overpriced apartment from a dog hater who makes side income as a ransom letter arranger.
Possibly the third most dimwitted thing I've ever done, and @newkillerstar.bsky.social goes and says "I feel like that was inevitable." Anyway I once again own a 3DO.
Fired up a rom of the old Data East RoboCop arcade game and wow, what a smash tepid middle of the road experience. Repetitive levels, cheap boss fights meant to rob your quarters. Looks great (especially background graphics,) sounds bizarre. Repetitive quality voice samples and tinny music.
My workplace is getting a chunk of it's budget taken out because it wasn't paying it's workers according to the union agreement. And the agreement sucks, so you know what that means.
FINALLY. First appearance of Samuel Fields in Deadwood, a serious contender for my favorite character (and a great performance from Franklin Ajaye.) The character puts up with a lot of racism in the show, but unlike Mr. Wu there's a sweetness to him that doesn't stoop to the same level.
@newkillerstar.bsky.social continues to enjoy EB Farnum's doubled Shakespearean soliloquies.
Look, you can't tell me I shouldn't be posting these two. I'm taking a bit of an issue with your method there.
Went out to the lagoon and saw bioluminescent Fire Worms. Impossible to get good photos on my phone, but here's what I got.
In Babylon 5, a character has to recite a long string of technobabble and was awarded with a shirt that says the line and "I survived." No less is due when Ellsworth says "I may have fucked my life up flatter 'n hammered shit, but I stand before you today beholden to no human cocksucker."
Accidentally wound up back on The Other Site and boy is that always laced with regret and ooze
I meant to post this quote at the beginning of the thread, but it works here as well.
