Here is a glass signal mirror that I designed years ag. Most signal mirrors are made from polycarbonate to be shatterproof, but they spread the light too much and unevenly. My mirror is a precision instrument and it contains a retroflective aiming device for precise signaling. More in the reply.

#Chinacamp State Park in Marin is an old Chinese fishing village on the #SanFranciscoBay. This place is not very well-know and often overlooked by visitors.
I posted pictures of the damage to the #PacificaPier and of the demolition of the #ChitChatCafe weeks ago. Notice the collapse of the #abutment progressing. I took the picture on the right onJune 28th and the one of the left on July 13th. You can also see that more boulders have been piled up.
A #KugelFountain, aka #FloatinghSphere spins on thin layer of water. Like in a roller #bearing, Hydrodynamic pressure created by the rotation of the ball draws fluid between the ball and its socket bearing. This makes the ball float. Time capsulke in the fireground!
