How many rubber spatulas is too many? Because I think this might be too many

An array of rubber spatulas laid out on a kitchen worktop. They range in size, shape, colour, and function. There are 5 full sized ones, 7 mini ones, and one odd looking one designed to scrape out jars. There is also one in the dishwasher for a total of 14 rubber spatulas in a single kitchen.

#VeeMakes I have once again made The Best Potatoes In All The Land

A blue-grey bowl full of crispy, crunchy, gorgeously golden roast potatoes, seasoned with lemon zest, a metric ton of garlic, and rosemary, then tossed with a drizzle of honey and grated parmesan. They are, quite frankly, the absolute tits.

I love Jellycat, it's just an abundance of ridiculous cuteness! If I had money to burn,I'd buy myself a load of the adorable bakery ones, I mean, who doesn't need a cuddly madeleine in their life??

#VeeMakes Now, we all know I'm not a tooting my own horn sort of girl, but these are the absolute fucking business

13 (I fucked up the maths) jam roly poly buns on an oval platter. They are super soft bread-like rolls filled with raspberry jam and drizzled with a custard icing.

The tops are a bit scorched because of jam leakage.

A corner roll separated from its brethren sitting on a white side plate awaiting its demise. It was hurriedly shovelled into my gaping maw in lieu of eating an actual lunch.

#VeeMakes It is Birthday Not-Cake time again

A raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake decorated with piped blobs of whipped cream, freeze-dried raspberries, and grated dark chocolate. The white chocolate shell on top of the filling has cracked from the forceful insertion of candles spelling out "happy birthday."

No, it isn't neat, why on earth did you think it would be??

Oooh, I'm gonna have fun with this one

The National Trust Book of Biscuits resting on my knee, small, multicoloured sticky tabs poke out from the top left corner of several pages.

The book itself is fairly small and a pale sage green colour. An illustration in the centre shows a viennese whirl, an almond-topped biscuit, and a chocolate cookie.

Text under the illustration reads:
"Over 70 delicious and easy biscuit recipes"
The author's name is Linda Collister.

#VeeMakes I could, and I did!

Top view of an apple and blackberry crumble baked in a shortcrust pastry case, and thus, a pie. The crust is slightly ragged, and one side is veering dangerously close to burnt, but that sort of thing is to be expected from me.

A serving of the crumble pie with a hefty helping of homemade custard. It is an ugly photo, but it is extremely difficult to make a bowl of crumble and custard look presentable.

#VeeMakes 10pm on a Friday night is obviously the perfect time for making a birthday cake that isn't really a birthday cake for your mother in law

A two-layer coffee and walnut cake sandwiched with coffee mascarpone whipped cream. The top layer is dusted with icing sugar and piped blobs of the cream adorn the edge. Each blob has a walnut piece on top. It isn't neat or pretty, but it will earn me several brownie points.
