The accusations are horrific but am glad to see this finally trending. No thanks to the MSM It took Sen Moreno's obscene questioning of Dr. Fauci for this finally to come to light. And now he and others like Jim Jordan need to explain themselves and how they can continue to support Miller.

Republicans care deeply about violence against women when the accused man is a Democrat. They care when an allegation can be turned into a Fox News segment, a fundraising email, or a campaign advertisement. They care when a woman’s trauma can be used as a cudgel against the political left. When the accused man is one of their own, however, Republicans suddenly rediscover due process, restraint, and the sacred privacy of a man’s personal life.

Consider Republican Rep. Max Miller of Ohio, the Trump protégé whose former wife, Emily Moreno, has accused him in court filings and police interviews of frightening acts of violence. Moreno is not some anonymous Democratic operative whom Republicans can dismiss as a partisan plant. She is the daughter of Republican Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio. She married Miller in 2022, had a daughter with him the following year, and divorced him last year.

Moreno alleged in police recordings that Miller once held a gun on her while she was changing their baby. She said that she had been scared of Miller and eventually left their home. In another alleged incident, she claimed that Miller threw hot water from a pan at her after she told him she wanted to separate.

Other court filings described an alleged February 2026 custody exchange during which Moreno said that Miller struck her and left bruises on her arm, elbow and torso. Photographs purporting to show bruising and redness were provided to reporters.
