Waldo was not a huge fan of the fireworks but he’s been a trooper! Frankie is indifferent and Rayne is hiding under the bed. (also Waldo got some drugs and was kind of zooted and has realized that Pink Floyd is the greatest band ever)

I got to meet Simon the corgi as I was checking out of the hotel today. He was barking and I immediately recognized the sound of a corgi who is receiving insufficient belly rubs. His human graciously let me help resolve his plight!

Simon the Corgi, who looks a lot like Waldo, is a blue merle pembroke corgi with a white neck and heterochromia. He is patiently waiting at the checkin counter for the humans to give him access to the penthouse suite.

Alligators are excellent pillows too!

I just made a great Jungle Bird riff and I’m sad that I’ll never be able to reproduce it because I didn’t measure and don’t know what a couple ingredients even were besides “rum?” The mix was 3 kinds of suspected rum, Campari, dry curaçao, angostura bitters, lime, and pomegranate juice.
