Just reading some of these quotes it’s becoming apparent that just playing Earthbound helped for who I am today and how I approach both as a player and as a person who love to talk to game developers of all levels. It’s that magic when I as the player get what the developer is trying to say.

If we'd sat down and tried to discuss it rationally, a game like Mother 2 would never have happened. When you audit a pitch document in a meeting, everyone always arrives at the exact same safe conclusion. It becomes a battle of logic versus logic, so you naturally end up picking the path with the least risk and that gets locked in as your baseline. But I believe what the industry needs today is to stop talking about risk altogether and start talking about what it costs to make something great. And so dedicating 8 megabits to music was a cost we chose to bear.

Itoi: Well, I can say for certain that the catalyst for wanting to make games myself was the influence of Dragon Quest. What was most interesting about i was the first-person perspective. The world is something bring to life, expanding it piece by piece with every new clue. You can't get that kind of excitement from a novel; the level of immersion is completely different, in othe words.
People toss around the word "interactive" a lot, but I never imagined I could actually get that involved myself. Ultimately, a game is at its best when the player's imagination and the creator's imagination multiply together. The tricky thing is, though, you usually shouldn't count on the consumer's imagination when you're making a commercial product.

It is legally binding, like all contracts for better or worse. There are probably clauses in the contract for those sorts of things, but it is legally binding.

What is a pre-contract in football and when can they be signed?
A pre-contract is an agreement between a player that club that commits to a move being made once the player's current deal comes to a close.
This allows interested parties to line up recruitment business well before it is actually completed, with long-term planning put in place.

FIFA regulations state: "A club intending to conclude a contract with a professional must inform the player's current club in writing before entering into negotiations with him.
"A professional shall only be free to conclude a contract with another club if his contract with his present club has expired or is due to expire within six months.
"Any breach of this provision shall be subject to appropriate sanctions."

I’m watching it right now. Usual I’d say. Defends the players, defends Tel in it. Here’s the quote and I’d say I line up with the take. Also including quote on his read of the refs.

A big hug and a big kiss. Nothing more because he is a young player, he is a big talent and he score a great goal. He made a mistake for the experience because he has not the right experience and he has not played too many games in his career and we have to accept, but l am proud and l am happy for the mentality we show. We didn't play a great game like in Villa Park, we played a good game and did enough to win. We could lose the game at the end because before the last 15 to 20 minutes, they didn't shoot on our goal and just one in the first half. We had 14 corner against two, five chances to score against two, we came inside of the goal area 50 times against 27 but we didn't score two goals.

We could see you getting frustrated on the sideline, you got a yellow card, what was frustrating you?

The first minute until the end of the game the referee went to me, 'if you go out, yellow card,' and I think they were not calm today. Maybe they suffered the pressure of yesterday the West Ham-Arsenal game and VAR. For sure we suffer the pressure today for the speed of the ball, for the order of the pitch and we didn't play with patience on the ball. Reading it now and this stuck out to me.

Listen, I want to be clear one time. The most important challenge now is to silence the voice inside of us, inside of the players, inside of the staff and inside of the fans. This voice can produce negative thoughts. The voice says, 'we are unlucky, we have too many injuries, we lost Xavi Simons and he was the last two games one of the best players and most important players for us, our medical staff is not good enough and the pitch of the stadium is not good, the pitch of the training ground is not good, it is impossible to win two or three games in a row because we have not won too many games in 2026, I think it is all negative things. And it is rubbish because I want to keep my focus on ourself and the quality of my players.
We go to play against one of the best teams in this moment in Premier League, we have a big respect for Emery as a coach, but if Tottenham win in Villa Park, it is not a miracle.
Maybe we lose, I don't know but we have the quality to win this game and it is not a miracle, so I think we have to be positive and to be lucky because we are working in a big club. If Solanke and Xavi are injured, we can play with Kolo Muani, Mathys Tel, Richarlison and I think they are not worse players. They are different as characters, but are very good players. We have Pedro Porro, we have Udogie, we have Micky van de Ven, we have Bentancur, we have Palhinha, we have Gallagher and Gallagher two! For that all these things and I have not too much to listen and to hear this (negative) things.
