I made sprites for Little Wars and I was not happy with them. I thought, "Why can't I get them to look like people from The Settlers?" And the answer is that Settlers are actually constructed from multiple layers based on what they are doing and what direction they are going.
New archers and swordsmen for Little Wars. I spent a lot of time on them and frankly, I hate them. I should not be allowed to do art.
Little Wars: Arrows are now physical objects that bounce off things!

How will you defend your little kingdom in Little Wars without a castle?
Little Wars work continues! Did someone order a turn-based strategy game with real-time combat like Warhammer: Dark Omen? I hope so, because that's what's for dinner!
Progress on Little Wars! The Steam page should be up as soon as my identity is verified.

Okay, time to hang out the shingle! Need a programmer? One who has seen and done everything? One who specializes in game development but has also done work in the medical and consumer electronics industries? Look no further!
This comment on one of my Ultima VII Revisited videos got me right in the feels:
The Trinsic Demo for Ultima VII Revisited is really starting to come together.
Hecks yes! We couldn't quite finish it on stream last night, but thanks to @Furroy 's equipment system and some Lua scripting, NPCs in Ultima VII Revisited can now tell if you're wearing a Fellowship amulet when you speak with them!
A preview of Serpent Isle in the Ultima VII Revisited engine! I just threw the SI data files into the project out of curiosity and this is what happened!
There's no way to see to it in the game because of how the starting conversations are scripted, but Ultima VII actually had a line for Petre for if you talk to him before Iolo has had a chance to introduce you.
Initial pathfinding has arrived in Ultima VII Revisited, thanks to the work of Furroy! Check out his Atari 2600 games (and other stuff) at furroy.itch.io !
Okay, so not only do I now have a job, but I have an absolutely adorable little minicomputer to do that job with. Seriously, I love mini PCs and this one is awesome. Look at this thing! It fits in my hand!
I know there's a lot of jank in this, but I wanted to get some feedback on this version of the Ultima VII intro. Do the angle changes work? Or should the angle be static the whole time?
Okay, it's clear that you guys want me to play Ultima VII! So that'll be what we're doing after the update this evening. I'll be using Exult along with the digital music files for maximum awesomeness!
If you're looking for an experienced game programmer, who specializes in implementing gameplay designs, creating user interfaces and getting your game through Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo certification, then I'm your guy!
The Ultima VII Revisited stream went really well tonight. How well? This well:
